What is Kamagra Jelly?

Kamagra Jelly can be used for treating sexual function deterioration of both organic (hormonal, neurological, etc.) and psychological etiology.

Thanks to the famous Indian company Ajanta Pharma and its generic drug, men can use sildenafil in new forms: as a gel for oral use, which is consumed in pure form, or dissolving it in any nonalcoholic beverage (not grapefruit juice!).

As noted above, Kamagra Jelly is PDE5i drug. It means that it inhibits PDE5 enzyme in penile tissues. This enzyme interferes with occurring and maintaining erection. By inhibiting it, Kamagra improves erection mechanisms and allows a man to have normal sex.

Advantages of Kamagra Jelly

The gel form of the medication has several advantages.

  • First, it is the speed of the onset of the effect, since the active substance of the drug is in a dispersed state. This allows Kamagra Jelly to act faster than its counterparts in tablets and capsules.

  • Secondly, patients who have difficulty in swallowing tablets or just don’t like to swallow them will rather prefer a delicious jelly.

  • Finally, the form of the medication in jelly form provides various methods for its use. In addition, the drug has a pleasant taste (there are multiple variations of flavors).

Warnings, Side Effects

The features of the use of the drug are the same as those of any drug containing sildenafil. In particular, the patient should consult a healthcare professional before using it. This statement is especially true for men with cardiovascular, liver or kidney diseases, as well as visual impairment (retinal degeneration – retinopathy).

In addition, the drug may cause some side effects, in particular, the following ones:

  • headache;
  • face redness;
  • indigestion, stomach problems;
  • back pain;
  • flushes;
  • blood pressure problems;
  • conjunctivitis, blurred vision, other vision problems;
  • insomnia, dizziness, increased muscle tone;
  • priapism, loss of vision, loss of hearing (very rarely), etc.

Do not combine the anti-impotence drug with other PDE5i meds for treating ED. It is strictly prohibited to combine it with nitrates.*

Do Men Rub Kamagra Jelly Topical on Penis?

Can Kamagra Jelly be used topically? Unfortunately, no. Kamagra should be used orally, then it enters the intestine, is absorbed into the systemic bloodstream, and acts inside the body directly in the tissues of the penile organ. It has not yet been proven that sildenafil can be absorbed through the skin of the penis and provide beneficial effect. The substance provides the proper effect only if you swallow it.

In fairness, we should note that scientists have studied sildenafil gel. But this type of drug was tested by Turkish scientists in terms of its effect on wound healing (Gürsoy K, Oruç M, 2014). Certain positive results were shown. But the substance was not analyzed in terms of treating erectile dysfunction. Therefore, the statement that Kamagra Jelly can be applied directly to the penis is a myth. In addition, Kamagra Gel name is untrue and misleading (in our opinion).

How to Take Kamagra Jelly Properly?

Kamagra Oral Jelly is supplied in the form of sachets filled with a fruit-flavored (mint-flavored, chocolate-flavored, etc.) jelly.

You can take it by three ways:

  1. squeeze the jelly onto the spoon and ingest it with water or other non-alcoholic drink;

  2. squeeze the substance onto the spoon, mix it with water or non-alcoholic drink, and then drink the “cocktail”;

  3. squeeze the substance directly in your mouth, it would melt very quickly.

Jelly form is digested and absorbed quicker than ordinary tabs, because the stomach doesn’t need to break down solid pills. So you can take the drug approximately 30 min before sexual intercourse. If you combine it with high-fat food, the needed effect may be delayed. The drug works best on an empty stomach.

What Remedies Can Be Applied to Penis?

According to Healthline, there are no topical medications approved by the US FDA for ED treatment. There is a topical drug AndroGel, which contains synthetic version of the main male hormone testosterone. At the time of writing, it is not approved by FDA to treat erectile disorders. However, it is approved to treat low testosterone levels. It may be helpful if ED in a patient is caused by testosterone deficiency, but in other cases it will be not effective. But you need to know that according to official instructions, it should not be applied to penis. The gel is to be applied to upper arms & shoulders area.

However, there are some topical ED treatments in development. Alprostadil, which belongs to vasolidators, is one of them. In the US, it is currently available in the form of injections and urethral suppositories. It is these forms that can be used for impotence treatment (but their administration may cause severe discomfort). There are no approved topical alprostadil-based drugs in this country, but in some countries, this form has been created. Californian scientists Padma-Nathan H., Yeager J.L. in their study held in 2006 reported that a topical alprostadil-based cream significantly improved erectile function in ED patients and was generally well-tolerated.

The Bottom Line on Topical Kamagra Jelly on Penis (Rub on Penis)

Kamagra Jelly cannot be used topically; it is an oral drug. Sildenafil, the main component of Kamagra, hasn’t been tested in this regard (it has been tested topically only for wound treatment). So do not rub it into the penis.

Finally, there are no FDA-approved topical ED treatments in the US, however, you can find such drugs in some other countries.
